Reflection

Time flies so fast and third grading period is almost over and we will be proceeding for our 4th quarter. I do hope that the laughter and lessons for this grading will continue for our final grading. Are you now are ready to face distinct challenges that will come for our final grading for this school year?
Before we proceed for the 4th grading, let us first reminisce the 3rd grading. I am happy again and I enjoyed different activities for this grading. My internet connection is not problems anymore because every post that we post it, I’ll do it in our home so it can lessen my problem to access and post to my blog. Same through with rushing of my projects, through my little effort with doing my projects earlier than before, my problem on this lessen also.
I hope better things will happen to me for this coming 4th grading. . I will be more creative again on the things that I may face. But in the other hand I’m not happy because we nearly living ILOCOS SUR NATINAL HIGH SCHOOL. And I think I’m not ready yet to face the college life. Let’s enjoy our high school life.
          GOOD LUCK :=)

Rebirth

In one’s life, it has been a practice to have a New Year’s resolution. Why do we have a resolution? It is simply because we want to renew and get rid of the things that we’ve been doing that causes us to be unproductive individual.
As I welcome my journey this year 2012, I didn’t have any particular New Year’s resolution.  I just reflect on the things that I’ve done for the past year and try to make up for whatever misdoings that I have committed. I just thought that I am not getting any younger so I must have to direct myself in continuing doing good that pleases everyone especially my parents. So I must stay simple and humble all the time. I must stay away from reacting and blaming someone and I do hope that those who accepted me for who I am last year will still accept me for who I am today. I won’t forget the moments happen to me, even if they are sad moments or happy moments, they will still remain in my heart and memories and as well as those people who completed my 2011 year.
These are the things I considered to be as my resolutions. I will assure that if ever I wasn’t a good friend into my friend and a good boyfriend into my girl friend, I promise that I will try my very best to make up those things this year. I LOVE YOU ALL!!J

Mother Tongue: Mirror Of One Self

Agbiag dagiti Ilokano!!!
Mother tongue denotes the language or the dialect of one institution. As I grow up in this world many languages I’ve heard. They say it’s a English, Tagalog, Cebuano, Bisaya and many more. But in my heart Ilocano is my language, why? Because I am a Ilocano and presently residing at Ilocos.
We should be proud of our mother tongue. In our country, it has been called the “National Language of the North.”  Many ethnic groups from the northern regions of our country use Ilocano as their dialect instead of the national language of our country which is Tagalog or Pilipino. Ilocano remains a regional language with no political power or use in education past the early elementary years.
Nowadays, English and Tagalog are noticeable to use and for preferring for the betterment of each of us. But we should bear in mind that the Ilocano dialect is our mother tongue. We should use it and we should take care of it.
Let’s be one. Let us keep in our minds that pure mother tongue, Ilocano, is essential in fulfilling our goals in life. So say that we are proud enough that we are Ilocano!!!

A Cry For Climate Change

Climate includes patterns of temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind and seasons. "Climate change" affects more than just a change in the weather, it refers to seasonal changes over a long period of time. These climate patterns play a fundamental role in shaping natural ecosystems, and the human economies and cultures that depend on them.
Because so many systems are tied to climate, a change in climate can affect many related aspects of where and how people, plants and animals live, such as food production, availability and use of water, and health risks.
For example, a change in the usual timing of rains or temperatures can affect when plants bloom and set fruit, when insects hatch or when streams are their fullest. This can affect historically synchronized pollination of crops, food for migrating birds, spawning of fish, water supplies for drinking and irrigation, forest health, and more.
Some short-term climate variation is normal, but longer-term trends now indicate a changing climate. A year or two of an extreme change in temperature or other condition doesn’t mean a climate change trend has been "erased.”
Worldwide, people are paying serious attention to climate change. In Washington state, climate change is already disrupting our environment, economy and communities. We can help slow it down, but we must take action now.

We can make differences

There is nothing permanent in this world except change
All of us can do change. We can do and make differences that may improve ourselves. Trough the differences we can make us successful someday.
We cannot deny the fact that our country is suffering from many problems such as poverty and many more.  We should now move, we should do something in order to save our country. We should make changes and differences. But the point is, what differences can we make?
We should change our bad attitudes and habits. We should be a good citizen in our society. I know that we are responsible enough to save our country. Let us think first before we act.
I can make differences. I can do such good things. I can

Essence of Christmas

Christmas is the birthday of our saviour, Jesus Christ. It is the day for giving gifts, feasting, and good times with their families. A time of loving and forgiving, giving and sharing one another, yet do we still see the true essence of Christmas in our humanity at present?
Human beings are excited to welcome the Christmas Day. So what are the reasons behind this? Maybe every person or some they wait for the ‘Misa de Gallo’ which is for them to complete in attending 9 consecutive masses at dawn and even at night. So they believed that one can make a wish and this wish is granted if he/she can able to complete the mass. Children wait for them to have their Christmas carolling together with their friends and even the old ones can do the carolling. For the Noche Buena Time, for sure everybody are so excited in preparing the foods for this as well as when the real Noche Buena is going on, for the children are very excited to receive a gifts as well as money from their “Ninongs” and “Ninangs”
That’s the trough essence of Christmas by giving and sharing, by loving and forgiving.

Catalyst of Change

Change is the only permanent in life that no one can hold it. As time passes by, everything changes. Changes may vary into a good which is performed with better life and contentment while the bad side it can destroy your life trough doing such bad things.
I am here today, I am proud to say that I am me, I can truly say that no matter what happen to me I am disciplined person. At the moment many person are not satisfied to their lives. One may say that she/he is now contented with what she/he have right now. She/he doesn’t need any more changes in her/his life it because she/he is happy being with it. But not all like that, I can say that life vary into a mystical way, things happened in every day in our year existence. When you want to change the bad side of the humanity, it is really hard. So we first need discipline in ourselves. A kind of discipline in which it will be the reason to have progress and difficulties will soon come to an end. Even those little yet functional things we do every day, it will contribute a lot for the mankind.
That’s the change that I want be, a change in which everybody will be benefited. As a catalyst, change start with me and soon life will be in a good hand for the betterment of our lives. I hope it will come someday, somehow.
